About Our Company
Classic Painting and Decorating is a father-daughter team of painters. Established in 2006, they’ve painted thousands of houses and have worked on many bigger projects such as Jane’s Restaurant at RRC’s Polytech/Paterson GlobalFoods building. They’ve also done extensive work at the Fort Garry Hotel.
Rosario grew up as a first generation Canadian watching the strong work-ethic of his parents. He was always interested in working with his hands, trying many creative jobs and experiences. He disassembled and reassembled his first car at 14. He is capable of building a house from the ground up, but went into the Painting and Decorating trade as a young adult. He started and finished his apprenticeship with large Winnipeg companies, which gave him experiences in all areas of painting including industrial, commercial and residential. His varied experiences have enabled him to do high-end spray finishes and a variety of specialty, decorative and Old World finishes. He was introduced to this area of painting by training with world-class, Master Painter Mike McNeil – winning first place in the training classes both times they were offered. Rosario started Classic Painting and has enjoyed being able to pass on his skills and knowledge to his children. He is excited to have Danielle join his company.
Winnipeg born and raised, Danielle grew up with a deep love for art and culture. She has so many memories of the Forks, sledding and skating at St Vital park, ice cream at BDI… She volunteered with the Brazilian Pavilion at Folklorama for many years. Currently, she lives in Fort Richmond with her husband, daughter, and her cat and dog.
